Stephanie joined the firm as an associate in November 2022.  She concentrates her practice primarily on representing lenders, loan servicers, and other financial services clients in highly contested consumer and commercial finance litigation in New Mexico. Prior to joining the firm she regularly represented businesses and individuals in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases, and represented parties in business litigation and transactions, workout negotiations, and other commercial matters.

She is a member of the New Mexico Bar Association, and admitted to practice before all state courts in the state of New Mexico and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico since 2003.

In addition to her J.D. Stephanie received her M.S. in Fisheries Biology from New Mexico State University in 1999 where she worked on a Department of Defense funded project to study state endangered White Sands Pupfish, and she independently developed a technique to measure fluctuating asymmetry on live fish using a digital imaging system.
